Island hopping

Santorini & the Cyclades

Santorini, Paros & Naxos 8 days 12–19 Sep 2026 Greece ★ 4.8

Eight days, three islands and a lot of blue. Slow ferry hops between Naxos, Paros and Santorini, with enough unplanned time to actually enjoy them.

Three islands in eight days sounds rushed. It isn't — we've built this one around the morning ferries, so you arrive with the day still ahead of you and never spend an afternoon dragging a suitcase.

You start on Naxos, the greenest of the Cyclades and the one most people skip. Two nights in the old town below the Venetian castle, a day up in the mountain villages, and a long lunch somewhere with no menu in English.

Paros next, for the harbour at Naoussa and the marble quarries inland. Then the crossing to Santorini for the last three nights, staying on the caldera rim in Imerovigli — quieter than Oia, same view, and you can walk the cliff path to the sunset instead of queueing for it.

Everything is booked and paid before you leave: hotels, ferries, port transfers. You arrange your own way to Athens and back — we'll tell you exactly which connections work.
